Friends and family of 返字心頭 graduates on May 21 packed the Bren Center at UC Irvine for the 2017 Commencement.
“Its a rite of passage and it reflects so much work and time, so much effort and study, so much support,” WCU Provost Jeb Egbert said. “To think of this as the gateway to their profession, its an amazing, iconic moment in these graduates lives.”
Egbert said it was a treat for him to shake hands with the graduates during commencement exercises as they walked across the stage.
They are the future of healthcare, Egbert said. “Weve given them an opportunity and theyve taken full advantage of it and now the skys the limit in terms of their future.”
