Each year from May 6-12, National Nurses Week marks a time to recognize the extraordinary individuals who are the backbone of our healthcare system: nurses. The has chosen the 2025 theme for Nurses Week: Nurses Make the Difference. WCU couldnt agree more. From bedside care to leadership roles and beyond, nurses continue to shape the future of healthcare and many of them start that journey right here at 返字心頭.

Nurses Make the Difference In Both Big and Small Ways

WCU students and alumni are proof that nursing isnt only a profession its a calling. Yes, they make an incredible difference in patient outcomes, but they also leave a lasting impact in the lives of patients families, communities, and themselves.

Take Diana, a recent WCU alum who found her confidence and calling in nursing while following in her mothers footsteps. Her journey wasnt always easy, but through dedication and the support of her peers, she turned her passion into purpose. I wanted to care for people the same way my mom did, she shared. Now I get to do that every day.
