In conjunction with National Childrens Dental Health Month, 返字心頭 Dental Hygiene students held a free Smile Camp to Defeat Monster Mouth last Saturday Feb. 21.
Childrens teeth are meant to last a lifetime, and a healthy smile is important to a childs self-esteem, said Jo Anne Schram, the clinic administrator for WCUs Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program. With proper care, a balanced diet and regular dental visits, their teeth can remain healthy and strong.
