More than 80 new nursing students took their first step towards a career in healthcare at返字心頭-Ontario’s orientation day.
WCU-Ontario Student Affairs Director Jonathan Langley said the 88 new students had the chance to meet Dr. Bart Lerner, Dean Kathleen Payne and a variety of on-campus staff and faculty during the morning and afternoon sessions on June 7.
Lerner in addition to his “Price is Right” story wowed the group with his memory name game. Many others walked away inspired about becoming nurses after hearing an address by Dean Payne and Executive Director Danielle Sperandeo.
Students also enjoyed an on-campus scavenger hunt in small groups while guided by current students who volunteer in the PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) program.
